NBA Academy fought an intense and highly competitive game against a more experienced MM Public School team. The young NBA Academy India players showed positive attitudes and teamwork to win the game 86-81!
A game won on both sides of the court. NBA Academy India displayed a great level of enthusiasm sharing the ball and finding the open player. A focus was made on feeding the big man and letting them work in the paint while reading the double team and finding the open shots.
NBA Academy India came back from a tough defensive first half to win 42-37 against Yuva Shakti School. The team’s dominant inside game helped compensate for the low field goal percentage from the outside, helping them maintain the lead throughout the second half.
NBA Academy India played a young team, which allowed them to practice their offensive ball movement and tidy up their defensive strategies. All players touched the ball and scored in this great collective win!
NBA Academy’s slow defensive start picked up in the second quarter with a full-court man to man, which allowed them to get easy baskets and keep the lead. The team’s aggressiveness on offense brought them to the foul line.

NBA Academy’s focused was on full-court pressure on defense and a 4 out-1 in offense to allow penetration and two-man games.
The NBA Academy India was unable to break Kirori Mal College’s full court pressure, which caused multiple turnovers.
The NBA Academy India’s great team effort was propelled by tenacious full court defense, resulting in a 50 point win during the College League’s quarter finals!
The NBA Academy India’s great defensive effort led them to a 52-41 victory against Hinsraj College. Prashant Rawat had a solid defensive game and finished with 8 points and 16 rebounds. Jagshaanbir Singh finished with 5 points,10 rebounds and Riyanshu Negi with 13 points, 3 rebounds.
