CRAIG BROWN
Player Development Coach
As technical director of NBA Academy Shandong, Craig Brown is responsible for supporting player development and on-court instruction for top high school-age prospects from across the country.
Prior to his current role, Brown served as the director of basketball operations for NBA Asia, where he oversaw the continued growth of the league’s basketball development initiatives across the region.
Before joining the NBA in 2015, Brown spent 10 years as an assistant coach for the University of Central Florida (UCF) men’s basketball team. While at UCF, he also served as Director of Operations for three seasons where he helped monitor the academic progress of student-athletes, coordinated community service initiatives and directed summer youth camps.
Brown played four years of collegiate basketball at the University of Florida where was named 1994 NCAA East Regional Most Outstanding Player and Final Four team captain.
